The Childrens Garden

We started this summer by making a garden just for the children. The children helped to clear out the area and plant. My son loved shoveling the dirt and leaves onto his little red wagon. They now take care of their garden by watering and keeping it free from leaves and weeds.

Later on we grew some plants and vegetables and then planted them in our garden. We talked about seeds, plants, and how they grow. We read The Carrot Seed, A Seed Is Sleepy and Flowers by Whitehouse.
