Spanish Routine and Topics Taught - Primary (3-6 years)

For the Primary grades I make up my lessons always using the following routine.

Good morning Song, New Vocabulary (I use props, songs and books to introduce the new vocabulary), Goodbye Song

What I teach at this level: Greetings, Days of the week, Months of the year, Numbers 1-30
Weather, Seasons, Alphabet, Classroom Objects, Color names, Animal Names, Body Parts
Clothing, Foods, Household items, Family members, Tell what they are going to do,
Describe their mood.

I get 30 minutes a week with this age level. The classrooms have Spanish language materials on the shelves.
